Publish

Send one test, publish, and your link and embed code start working right away. Your live form then stays as it is until you choose to change it.

Send a test

On the Delivery tab, choose Send test delivery. It sends a real email to your real recipients, using your saved settings and notification template, so you see exactly what they’ll get.

Save your delivery changes first, and fill in any required sample answers under Preview. You can send one test per minute. The test is optional, but it’s the quickest way to know responses will reach you.

The result stays on the tab:

ResultMeaning
PassedThe provider accepted the test. Check the inbox too
FailedIt didn’t go through. Check the recipient and sender, then send another
Test staleYour delivery settings changed after the test. Send another
Not testedNo test has gone out yet

Publish your form

Open Publish. The Delivery readiness panel lists anything to fix:

  • Resolve before publishing items stop you. Each one links to its fix.
  • Review before sharing items are warnings. You can still publish.

Choose Publish form. Your link and embed code start working right away.

From then on, the live form stays as it is until you choose Publish changes. Responses you already have stay tied to the version that accepted them.

Open and close your form

Public accesson the same tab controls whether a published form accepts responses:

SettingWhat visitors get
PublicThe live form
UnpublishedFORM_NOT_FOUND. Your history stays
ClosedFORM_CLOSED, with your message
MaintenanceFORM_MAINTENANCE, with your message

Response window sets open and close dates. Publishing doesn’t reopen a closed form, so change

Choose how people reach it

Pick an Integration method on the Publish tab. All three use the same server checks, and your recipients and provider keys never reach the page.

Check your first response

Fill in the live form yourself. Your response appears under Submissions, and its email shows under Deliveries with a status such as Queued or Delivered.
