Delete Your Data
Take things out of use whenever you like, and bring them back if you change your mind. Most items go through the same steps: archive, then trash, then permanent deletion.
| Step | What happens | Can you undo it? |
|---|---|---|
| Archive | Hidden from active lists. An archived form stops taking submissions | Yes |
| Trash | Set aside and out of use until you restore it | Yes |
| Delete permanently | Gone. You confirm by typing its name | No |
Forms
Open the form’s settings. A form can be deleted permanently from the trash, once it has no submissions.
Recipients, Senders, And Domains
Use the actions on each row. See Recipients And Senders and Custom Domains. Permanent deletion needs forms to stop using the item first.
Workspaces
Owners and admins can archive or trash a workspace from its settings. A workspace can be deleted permanently once it’s in the trash and empty.
Submissions
The app can’t delete a submission yet. To have submissions removed, write to hello@formerie.com, and we’ll handle the request by hand. Until then, a form with submissions stays in the trash instead of being deleted.
Nothing is deleted automatically. Plans list retention periods, but they aren’t applied today. See the privacy policy.
Your Account
- Open Settings, then Account, and choose Delete account.
- Resolve anything listed. You can’t close your account while you’re the only owner of a team workspace, or while your personal workspace has published forms.
- Type your account email to confirm.
You’re signed out everywhere, your sign-in methods are removed, your name and email are replaced, your personal workspaces move to the trash, and your team memberships end.
Submissions in those workspaces, security events, and records of accepted terms are not erased. Emails already sent stay in the inboxes that received them.
