# Team And Access

Give each person the access they need, and nothing more. Everything on this page
is set in the Formerie app, under a workspace's **Members** tab or a form's
**Members** tab.

## Workspaces

A workspace holds forms, members, recipients, senders, domains, and templates.
There is no limit on the number of workspaces. A person can create and belong to
as many as they need, and agencies often keep one workspace per client.

Plans and limits apply to each workspace, not to each person. Each workspace has
its own plan, and one paid plan doesn't cover several workspaces. Fair use is
described in the [acceptable use policy](https://formerie.com/acceptable-use/).

Free workspaces can have up to 3 members. Paid plans have no per-seat charge.

## Workspace Roles

A workspace role applies to every form in that workspace.

| Role | What it allows |
| --- | --- |
| Owner | Everything, including members and settings |
| Admin | Everything on forms, submissions, and members |
| Editor | View, edit, and publish forms |
| Viewer | View form setup, without submissions |

## Form Roles

Invite someone to one form when they don't need the whole workspace.

| Role | What it allows |
| --- | --- |
| Admin | Manage the form and its submissions |
| Editor | View and edit the form, without publishing it |
| Submissions | Read submissions, without changing the form |
| Viewer | View form setup, without submissions |

For example, give a client the **Submissions** role on their contact form. They
can read each message, and they can't change the form.

## Invitations

Invite people by email from either Members tab. You can see pending invitations
and revoke them, change a role, or disable a member.

## Activity And Sign-In

Each workspace and form keeps an activity history for configuration, members, and
delivery retries. Accounts can use multi-factor authentication and passkeys.

## Not Available Yet

Custom roles, with permissions you pick one by one, aren't available yet. Use the
roles above.
