# Use Your AI

Let your coding agent add the form. You create the form in the app, paste one prompt, and review what it wrote.

## 1. Give Your AI The Docs

Any agent that can read a web page can use this address, so you can put it right in your prompt:

```txt
https://docs.formerie.com/llms.txt
```

Using Codex? You can also install the Formerie skill, so it knows the rules without being told:

```bash
npx --package @formerie/client formerie ai setup
```

## 2. Create Your Form In The App

Your AI can't do this part yet.

1. Open [app.formerie.com](https://app.formerie.com) and create a form.
2. On the **Delivery** tab, add your email address, and confirm the email Formerie sends you.
3. On the **Publish** tab, choose **Publish form**, and note the workspace and form handles.
4. If your AI will build its own form rather than use the script embed, also choose **API-only** on that tab, add your
   site's addresses under **Your website addresses**, and publish again.

## 3. Paste A Prompt

Replace `acme` and the form handle with yours.

**A contact form in your own design:**

Prompt:

```text
Add my Formerie contact form to this site. Workspace acme, form contact. Use the Formerie docs at https://docs.formerie.com/llms.txt, match this project's framework and styling, and confirm the form submits. Tell me which site addresses I need to add to the form's allowed origins.
```

**The script embed, with no design work:**

Prompt:

```text
Add the Formerie script embed to my contact page. Workspace acme, form contact. Use the Formerie docs at https://docs.formerie.com/llms.txt. Don't build a custom form.
```

**A multi-step form:**

Prompt:

```text
Put my multi-step Formerie form on this site. Workspace acme, form intake. Use the script embed, which shows one step at a time. Docs: https://docs.formerie.com/llms.txt
```

## Check It Arrived

Send the form once yourself. Your response shows under **Submissions**, and its email under **Deliveries**.

Whatever your AI writes, the browser only sends field values. Recipients, templates, and provider keys stay in Formerie.
