# Introduction

Formerie gives every website forms that work, without a backend. You build the form in the app, or in your own code.
Formerie checks each response, keeps it, and emails it to the right people.

## What you get

- **A form on your site in minutes.** Paste one tag, share a link, or submit from your own components.
- **Responses you can count on.** Each one is saved before anything is emailed, so an email problem never loses it.
- **Forms that fit the job.** Steps, conditions, checks, and your own email template, all set up without code.
- **Spam protection from the start.** New forms come with [spam checks and submission limits](/guides/spam-protection/), and you can adjust both.
- **Plans per workspace, not per person.** Create as many workspaces as you need, and invite your team to each one.

To see how the pieces fit together, read [How Formerie works](/guides/how-it-works/).

## Where to start

Most sites do best with the script embed, so start there unless you already know you want something else.

| You want | Go to |
| --- | --- |
| A form on your site, with nothing to install | [Add a form to your site](/guides/add-a-form/) |
| Your own markup and styles, in a framework | [Your framework's quickstart](/guides/framework-entry-points/#your-framework) |
| To send responses from your backend, in any language | [API reference](/guides/api-reference/) |
| Your coding agent to do it | [Use your AI](/guides/quickstart-ai/) |
| A real example to follow | [Recipes](/guides/recipes/) |

The form stays the same whichever you choose, so you can change your mind later.
