# AI Features

Formerie’s AI features keep the same boundary as the rest of the product: recipients, provider credentials, and delivery rules stay on the server, and people review what AI proposes.

## Smart routing

Keep one simple form, and AI will pick the route from what the message says: support@, sales@, abuse@, or contact@. You’ll define the routes and a fallback, and it will only be able to choose among them.

- Low confidence or an outage will go to your fallback
- A message won’t be able to pick its own recipient
- The chosen route will be visible in the app, and you’ll be able to correct it

## AI form builder

Say what you need to collect, and AI will draft the form in the Formerie builder. You’ll review it, change what you like, and publish it yourself.

- Will start from a plain description
- Drafts will stay drafts until you publish
- Everything will stay editable by hand

## Plain-language rules

**Coming soon**

Type “must be a valid Quebec postal code” or “show this field only for commercial projects”. AI will turn it into a normal rule, and you’ll review it with sample results before publishing.

- Published rules will be normal rules, instant and consistent
- Show-or-hide conditions won’t call AI while people type
- If a rule can’t express it, the builder will say so

## AI form filler

When a form owner turns it on, people will be able to ask AI to explain a field, suggest an answer, or point out what’s missing. Nothing will change unless they accept it, and only they will be able to submit.

- Opt-in, form by form
- Every suggestion will be reviewed by the person
- It will never fill in or submit on its own

## AI spam filtering

After the usual checks, AI will classify a submission so it’s delivered, held for review, or marked and not delivered. Nothing will be deleted, and you’ll be able to release anything from the review queue.

- Off by default, form by form
- If AI is slow or down, submissions will still be accepted
- A review queue with counts for the form owner

## MCP management

Connect an AI tool over MCP to manage workspaces, forms, delivery, and domains, and to look up submissions. It will only be able to do what your account can do, in the workspaces you approve.

- Will work with MCP clients such as Claude and Codex
- You’ll approve each connection
- Will use your own permissions

## Available Today: A Skill For Codex

The SDK’s command-line tool installs a Formerie skill for Codex, so it follows the security boundary when it adds a form to your project.
